More rain on the way for Saltash

The unsettled weather in Saltash may have eased for a time today but the Met Office is warning there is still more to come. Further rain or showers, which will be quite persistent in places, are being forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday.
According to the Met Office, yesterday much of the southern half of the UK saw between 30 and 50 mm of rain. The downpours led to travel disruption in some parts of Cornwall and it's thought this could happen again, so we're being told to be on our guard.
A yellow weather warning is in place for Tuesday when more scattered, squally showers are expected throughout the day. Some persistent rain is then likely to spread in from the west through the afternoon and evening.
It will be very windy with further heavy rain on Wednesday but it should get drier and brighter by the end of the week.
