Saltash Housing Market 2010

The PL12 postcode is a popular place
-
Saltash with I.K Brunel Bridge in background
to live; therefore it is not too surprising that the housing market in Saltash
is doing well even in the current economic climate. Estate Agents Hennings Moir
and Maitlands both report a stable housing market in Saltash in 2010.
Estate Agents in Saltash believe
Saltash to be a family town rather than a popular place for holiday lets like
many places in Cornwall, therefore the housing market in Saltash is often very
good and stable compared to Cornwall in general.
Steve Moir from Hennings Moir and
Andy Blacklcok from Maitlands told Saltash People that the housing market had
risen earlier in the year but has since leveled off. Maitlands witnessed a dramatic
fall in the sale of houses in Saltash in 2008 which has since leveled off in
2010.
The nationwide UK Land Agent has
land available on their books so there is often opportunity to buy land for
investment purposes to build offices or your own home, especially in the Carkeel
area which helps growth in Saltash and the surrounding area.
The housing market in Saltash is stable because
it is a popular family friendly town which is still easy to commute to work in
the neighbouring city of Plymouth, and the market is not saturated by people
buying second homes or holiday lets.
Comments
As someone who is about to sell this is good to hear, I have noticed quite a few properties with sold signs.
So how do we sell if we don't want to use an estate agent?
