There is a shocking
-
Victoria Garden Railing has been Grafitti-bombed!
and disturbing new trend amongst our elderly residents of Saltash. In the
middle of the night they knit and while all self respecting people are tucked safely
in their beds they sneak out and graffiti our town!
This terrible craze
started in America and has now become popular on this side of the pond. Saltash
People caught this offensive knitted pink pig over a railing in Victoria Park.
It is still there now so avert your eyes as you drive past the offending
animal! Loose Grannies display their graffiti on various websites like Yarn
Bombing.
First noticed and pictured by
Andy Moir on Saltash People fanpage for Facebook. The Sun shows how
extreme this vandalism can become within a community. If you see any knitted
animals around Saltash please post your pictures and let us know. This is now a
problem in our town.

ReportGranny power! Actually, this is messed up - these cheeky blue-rinse wartime bomb-dodgers should be calmly rocking in their chairs as role models to the young and instead they are causing havoc and mayhem, running wild brandishing sharp knitting needles and long balls of wool... Menace to society!
