Every Monday morning at 10.30. Meet outside St Stephens Church at 10.30.

A walking-for-health groups for all ages and abilities. The walks last about one hour, mostly level walks aimed at new walkers. A great way to meet new people, explore the area, improve health, and its free. See http://tinyurl.com/3xgyoc4 for further information or phone Dave Readman (Walks co-ordinator) on 07909 965762.

I am one of the trained walk leaders so anyone interested in coming along can call me, Marion Clayden, on 07989 388362 to check the programme.

New walkers are always welcome

Date: Monday, July 12, 2010

Repeats: Every Week until Monday, September 06, 2010

I've not come across any in Saltash but I've not lived here very long. I do know that Plymouth Ramblers do some walks on Sundays....think you have to pay a joining fee. Their walks are longer than the free health walks we do, but are graded so you can choose according to how much of a walker you are. There are some other health walks around the Tamar valley area and some starting in Plymouth. As far as I know they are all during the week. You can get more information about the health walks from Natural England and the Tamar Valley AONB website.

If there was enough interest we could always start a Saltashpeople walking group maybe?
