The Saltash May Fair Princess 2011 will be chosen at a special event to be held at Ashtorre Rock on Saltash Waterside on Saturday 5th February between 4.30p.m and 6.00p.m.

The May Fair Committee will be looking to choose the Princess from an age range of 10-12 years and two attendants from an age range of 8-9 years. The role of the Princess and her Attendants lasts far beyond the fun of the May Fair itself. During their year long reign these young ladies will represent Saltash at civic events and therefore the informal interviews are designed to elicit an indication of each girl’s personality and her ability to communicate. An interest in becoming involved in the life of their home town and a pride in representing Saltash will be more important to the judges than looks alone,

The 2010 May Fair Princess, Casey Rossiter who attends Saltash.net Community School, along with her attendants, Katie Syass and Maxine Denton have enjoyed a busy year at a number of local events and it is hoped that even more dates will be added to the May Princess’s 2011 calendar.
