SALTASH PROBUS CLUB

Over 40 members and guests enjoyed the annual Christmas Lunch at the Whitsand Bay Hotel on 7 December. The meal was followed by a seasonal sing-song led by the new Chairman Ted Parr accompanied on the keyboard by Sue Davies.

Saltash Probus Club is part of a nationwide chain of clubs promoting fellowship and social activities for retired professional men or businessmen. Last October the Club celebrated its 21st. Anniversary with a lunch at the Holland Inn.

Meetings are held at 10am on the 1st. and 3rd. Wednesdays of each month at Saltash Guildhall with the business part of the meeting being followed by a talk by a guest speaker or occasionally a member. Over the years we have had an interesting range of speakers and anyone who would like to give a suitable talk should contact us.
