Just wanted to report that I spent the afternoon at Cornwall College Saltash Construction Skills centre doing a taster course in Plastering and it was excellent. Paul Roulstone is an excellent teacher...very clear, supportive, and inspires confidence. I have never wielded a trowel before and didn't expect to enjoy it or to have much success but came away feeling with a bit more practice I could tackle a wall at home. The facilities at the Construction Skills site are very good too.
