Hi everyone how about discussing the idea of a Saltash Amateur Dramatics group? Is this something that is lacking in the town???

What sort of group are you planning? There is a VERY SUCCESSFUL Youth Theatre Group in Saltash...'Youngstagers'. I started the group 20 years ago and we are about to go into rehearsals for our 20th Anniversary Show which will, in fact be our 29th Production. I spent 25 years with Saltash Operatic & Dramatic Society (now no more!) in the town before I started Youngstagers so have quite a lot of experience of 'amdram' in the town. There are also a couple of adult groups in the town already - Burraton Players and St Nick's do fairly regular productions. Not sure if this is of any help? Are you looking for something different?

Just didnt know if there were any groups in the town as I hadnt heard of any. I have been involved in Drama for many many years and wondered what was around in Saltash. I know there are many in Plymouth.
