    A SALTASH man has denied causing criminal damage to a traffic barrier at Plymouth Airport. Melvyn Richard Jones, of Killigrew Avenue, Saltash, entered a not guilty plea to the charge at an earlier hearing at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court. The 56-year-old appeared before magistrates, who adjourned his case for trial on Wednesday, October 13.

    A 48-YEAR-OLD man has appeared before magistrates charged with assaulting a man and a woman at a property in Saltash on June 10 and causing damage to household items valued at more than £1,400. David Hanna, of Revell Park Road, Plympton, Plymouth, appeared before Bodmin magistrates on July 21. The case against him was adjourned until August 4 and he was bailed with conditions.
