Work Starts on Nine New Affordable Homes in Saltash

There will soon be more affordable housing in Saltash as the Leadbitter Group start construction work on behalf of the Tamar Housing Society.

The affordable homes on Alamein Road, close to the Saltash Leisure Centre, were awarded to Leadbitter after the successful completion of similar developments in the area.

The nine terrace homes will comprise four three-bedroom and five two-bedroom houses, built with a traditional block construction, that complement existing properties within the area. Uniquely solar photovoltaic panels will also be installed to generate electricity, saving energy and reducing the tenants' fuel bills.
