Traffic fears

IN VIEW of the severe traffic disruption that can be caused when there is an accident or other traffic hold-up, either on the A38, or near a slip road leading on or off the A38, what do the citizens of Plymouth and Saltash think of the extra hazards that heavy goods vehicles will create accessing the incinerator in North Yard?

This incinerator will involve waste being brought from Teignbridge, Newton Abbot, Kingsbridge and South Devon in heavy goods vehicles.

Bottom ash and hazardous dry ash will then be taken back along the A38, and the sorted dry ash will then be crushed and returned to Plymouth.

Can anything be done about this now that Plymouth City Council has granted planning permission?

Wait for our guardian angels - MVV - to step in and offer to improve the junction at Camels Head.......aren't they lovely people helping us all with their money....whilst stabbing us in the back.

It is said that the numerous accidents or breakdowns aren't needed to be factored into this...
..that there are no problems with adding all these juggernauts into the existing traffic stream.

Strange because as I drive up the St Budeaux By Pass each morning these 153+ vehicles that I see crawling towards Camel's Head and backing up onto the A38 must be a figmant of my imagination.....

..will be no different than all the buses on the road apparently.....

odd as this is in ADDITION!!

Disbelievers and scoffers just you wait..and you will be...waiting in the traffic!
