Saltash Has Got Talent 2011 Winners

This year's Saltash Has Got Talent competition was once again an overwhelming success. Below are the finalists who won the grand final talent contest on Sunday 23rd October at Devonport Playhouse in Plymouth.

The 2011 competition's grand prize was scooped up by the musical talents of Freeston from Saltash who wowed the judges with his performance. The prize of Most Promising Act was given to Amy-Jo Totterdell who sang like it was the last time she was going to sing to secure this title!

The under 16s winner was Josh Frost who gave a flawless performance of Hushabye Mountain, and the over 16s prize was awarded to Emma Staple who gave the judges and audience goosebumps with her rendition of Fields of Gold.

The show raised £1000 for Dartmoor Zoo and Cornwall Air Ambulance. The committee said: "We would like to thank everyone who has supported the show this year and are looking forward to surprising you next year!"
