Outdoor theatre returns to Saltash

The 1623 Theatre Company is
to return to Mary Newman's Cottage in Culver Road, Saltash on Saturday 16th
July to present an evening of Shakespeare's funniest bits, in 'Stand Up
Shakespeare'.
Following recent successes
at the cottage with 'The Course of True Love' and 'Sinful ShaXXXeare' the
popular touring company will present an evening of the Brad's more comic side
in the Elizabethan garden, with scenes from plays including As You Like It,
Measure for Measure, The Two Gentlemen of Verona and Twelfth Night. Entrance
for this very popular event is by ticket only, which are on sale for £10.00

Described as "uplifting
... unusual and entertaining" by the British Theatre Guide, the 1623 Theatre
Company performs in non-traditional theatre spaces to engage new and existing
audiences with Shakespeare's inspirational language, vibrant characters and an
exciting sense of theatre
The doors to the cottage will open at 6.00p.m and the
audience is invited to bring a picnic to enjoy in this beautiful setting.
Refreshments are available to purchase from the Cottage cafeteria and the
production begins at 7.30p.m.
