Microlight Crash in Saltash

A pilot has been taken to hospital following a Microlight crash in the Landulph area of Saltash at the weekend. Emergency services were called to the scene at just after 1pm on Saturday afternoon.

The man in his fifties, who was the only occupant of the aircraft, was airlifted by Devon Air Ambulance to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth. Police say his injuries aren't thought to be serious.

The Air Accident Investigation Board has been informed and will be carrying out an investigation.
