Your Own Fireworks:
If you want to stay home and put on your own firework display then the best place to buy fireworks is at Sound & Vision Fireworks on the Tamar View Nurseries or online at their website. They have a large selection of fireworks on display at their shop and always have a selection on offer. They have a great range to choose, from hand held sparklers to large selection boxes. Martins Newsagent on Fore Street also stock a small selection of fireworks as well.
Organised Firework Displays:
There are no organised firework displays in Saltash so if you want to take your family to a safe family event on the 5th November then you will need to choose one of the following events close by.
Over the bridge, Plymouth Hoe have spectacular fireworks on Saturday 5th November starting at 6.30pm and sponsored by the Herald with entertainment by Derriford Hospital Radio.
There are a number of Bonfire and Firework displays organised on this side of the bridge. Landrake near Saltash will have a small Bonfire and fireworks display, organised by Cornwall Schoolboy Scramblers Club.
Propably one of the most spectacular local events of the year is the Fireworks display in Callington organised by Ginsters on Saturday 5th November at 7.00pm at the Callington Community College and entertainment before the display by Pirate FM.
Tavistock also hold a Bonfire night at Tavistock Meadows, Plymouth Road on Saturday 5th November, organised by the Tavistock Lions Club with the award winning Two Tigers Firework Display. Be warned this event is £4 per adult and £1 per child.
