The Beauty Therapy department at Cornwall College Saltash is holding an open evening dedicated to self-tanning on Thursday 18th October at their campus based salon. Visitors are invited to try products, take a look around the facilities, meet staff and current students and learn more about the art of self-tanning.
Held between 5pm and 7.30pm, the event will run alongside a wider open evening for all courses and is the result of the hard work of the Beauty Therapy Level 3 group who, as part of their course, have organised and promoted the evening and who will be staffing it on the night.
The evening will focus on spray and cream tanning and students, supported by staff, will be on hand to offer advice and put on demonstrations to show what they have learnt on their .
Gift box sets from the College's supplier of self-tanning products, Fake Bake, will also be on offer and anyone who buys any products will also receive a £2 voucher to be spent on a future tanning treatment at the campus.
"The evening is a great opportunity for our students to demonstrate what they have learnt about self-tanning so far" said Programme Manager for Beauty Therapy Pamela Davies. "They have all worked really hard to organise this event and they are all looking forward to meeting members of the public on the night."
The evening is open to all but anyone who cannot make it on the night but would like to make an appointment for a treatment can contact the salon on 01752 850206, which is open to the public during term time.
