Cold Callers in Devon & Cornwall

Devon & Cornwall Police have received reports of persons cold calling in West Devon and East Cornwall canvassing to collect funds for Crimestoppers as well as offering other services.

One male has stated that he is from a Safety Company, the group are not affiliated to Crimestoppers or Devon and Cornwall Police.

Devon & Cornwall Police are asking for residents to contact them on 101 if they have persons on their doorstep purporting to be from/ or have support from Crimestoppers or the Police so they can check their identity.

Please also contact them on 101 if you have a caller you feel is acting suspicious.
