I was born and raised in Antony Passage and although no longer living there am very upset with what has been happening to the place. You may or may not be aware of the recent public inquiry with regard to the right of way from the Ferry House to Footpath 17, now resolved with a victory for the people who have used the path for over fifty years. When I lived there it was possible to turn a car quite easily and also plenty of room to park. Today it's impossible to take a car to Antony Passage unless you own a property there with a turning space. This is because the road has been fenced off to prevent any access by outsiders. The road traffic act act of 1982 clearly states that title to a highway by adverse possesion is not possible yet a large part of the road has been fenced and it appears that Cornwall Council is doing nothing about it.
